In response to COVID 19

“Its Going to be Ok”. That's the message we need to internalize in this very difficult times. Washing hands often and Social distancing are the new norms for us. With the stress levels rising around us it's also important to keep calm and cope with our own anxieties. Keeping kids busy and organized is hard work at times, of course depending on the age of kids. If you are working from home or if you are going to work everyday take some time to relax after work. 
I have put together a list of things we can do to cope with all the stresses around us. It is by no means a complete list, but I hope it's a start. 
Take time to meditate even for 3 minutes in a day.
Practice square breathing and let go of the stress. 
Exercise/ yoga / take a walk with the kids
Read to your Kids/ Read with your kids
Play games with the kids/ video games with the kids
Read a Book
Cook/ Bake/  and involve kids in it
Learn a language. Involve kids with it
Call family/  a friend or friends/ have a virtual girls / guys  evening
Listen to music
Dance with your kids
Play with the dog
Watch a movie/ form a  virtual movie club with kids friends and other parents 
Sing songs together 
Be creative. Together with kids/ Arts crafts/ drawing / coloring/ skit writing/putting a puppet show/write a book/ Be silly/  Look at old Photographs
Follow a routine everyday
Practice gratitude and appreciation
Journal
Limit Social Media
